Minutes
July 22, 2021
Attendees: Tammy Keys, Michael Holloran, Scott Rector, Angela Pollard, Teresa Cagle, Heather Walters, April Weaver, Randy Wells.
The official Pig Bowl date is confirmed as October 2, 2021
Meeting started at 5:42 pm
There were four official nominees, nominated via the Pig Bowl Website/E-Mail :
James & Kim Barrett (Daughter Maleigha), Michelle Doolin, Ezra Blue Duckwall (Mother Hannah) and Jessie & Kayla VonBorstel
We discussed all of these nominees as well as three others that came in via board members or other outside sources.
The board members unanimously agreed to play for two families instead of only one as previously decided at the last meeting. The board agreed to interview the Ezra Blue family and the Barrett families as potential recipients for 2021.
Michael quickly read through a checklist of annual Pig Bowl “To Do’s”, which he created at the request of the board. Randy volunteered to contact Bishop Sanitation.
Theresa volunteered to contact Safeway & Smart Food Services. Michael will reach out to Papa Murphy’s, Dutch Brother’s and Pepsi.
Scott announced that Alex Rector would sing the National Anthem
Meeting adjourned 7 pm
