Hi! We hope you have been well. Our family is excited for this years Pig Bowl. Here is an update on our Amelia, and I attached her most recent photo, Thank you again for blessing our family in such a profound way:
We just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported our family for the last year+ . At times it has been a struggle & we will never forget the kindness and generosity that was shown to our family during our darkest time. We are so glad to be part of a community that truly rallies around those who are experiencing hardships. Yesterday we got the best news ever that our little Amelia is 1 year in remission. So thanks to everyone (way to many to name here) near and far that have supported our family in so many different ways. It means the world to us!!!!

Just read all of the stories of this year’s recipients and I am so moved by their struggles and the amazing blessings you and The Dalles community are providing to them!
We are so overjoyed to report Amelia just celebrated 5 years cancer free! She is in 5th grade, plays Soccer as a Goalie, basketball and even starred in her first credited role in a short film! She has never forgot what a blessing The Dalles Community and Pig Bowl was for her and still talks about the time she scored a touchdown against the Police officers.
Here are some pictures and a few family updates;
-we relocated to Spokane Valley in 2021.
-Lucas just started 6th grade. His passion is Baseball and after playing on All-stars, he was drafted to the Rawlings Tigers which is a travel ball team.
We found a great church family and have made some wonderful friendships in our new home but we will always love The Dalles!
We pray for a successful Pigbowl this year!
