As the new year has come, at this time I am still patiently waiting for a kidney transplant. But with a big THANKS to the Pig Bowl community we had an many people check to see if they were a match! With good news from my kidney transplant team they have notified me with potential donors that have matched with me. Unfortunately getting these donors into appointments for further testing has been difficult as there are only two kidney transplant centers my insurance allows me to use.
While I sit tight and wait for the call, I am thankful for my family, friends, and community for their kind words and prayers of encouragement!
